A Goal I Can't Meet

So I started doing NaNoWriMo. For those who don't know, it's an insane 'contest' where people try to write a novel in a month. The goal is 50,000 words. I've done it before, but this time I'm doing it my way.

I decided to take "a picture is worth a thousand words" kind of literally, and decided to try and get 50 panels for my comic done in the month of November. I so far have a grand total of 2 done, one being the cover render I posted here... Partly because I kind of missed the first few days of the month waiting in Portland for Dell's visa to come through, and partly because I'm being my typical perfectionist self when it comes to details and it's taking forever...

And now... I have to go to the dentist. :(

Hehe, yes, I'm one of those geeks with completely random webcam images that have nothing to do with anything ;P

Yup, this is Christina, I just realized that I don't even have my full name and gender up. I'm a tiny bit paranoid about some of the more 'interesting' people and flamers that I've seen around here ^^;

It's been a while! I think I last saw you in Salahub's AHIS class during 2nd Year. How goes life? It's awesome to see you online again ^^

Well, I spent the last 8 months or so wandering around Europe (mostly the UK and the Netherlands) and spending entirely too much money doing so, even though I basically lived like a homeless person a lot of the time o.O So now I'm back trying to pay off my debts and get into the US to marry my fiancee...

And trying to actually start my web comic idea, but ending up procrastinating and generally playing with the 3d program and tinkering with my computer hehe

Eight months in Europe? That seriously sounds like an adventure ^^ That's really the pits about the money though, why does everything cost so much these days? I was hoping that maybe it was just Calgary that was that way.

I'm hoping it goes well with the debt, and that's great to hear that you may be marrying in the near future. I'm afraid I'm still pretty much the same as I was two years ago, still working the same job and still at ACAD. Although I'm graduating next spring and being shoved out into the slightly freaky world of freelance illustration. I'm thinking there might be some major changes then O_o

Ah, yes, procrastination, gotta love it ;D
