Holy shit, 3 years. That has to be some kind of record. I came back here to look at some sketches that I did back when I was going to art school... Some of them weren't half bad. Some of them were horrendous. Most of them are over on my other account, which I will not link to here because of their aforementioned horrendousness. I actually started posting my webcomic. I seriously think it's been about 7 years since I came up with the idea, and it has hella changed since then, though the characters have remained basically the same. So I started doing NaNoWriMo. For those who don't know, it's an insane 'contest' where people try to write a novel in a month. The goal is 50,000 words. I've done it before, but this time I'm doing it my way. I decided to take "a picture is worth a thousand words" kind of literally, and decided to try and get 50 panels for my comic done in the month of November.  I so far have a grand total of 2 done, one being the cover render I posted here... Partly because I kind of missed the first few days of the month waiting in Portland for Dell's visa to come through, and partly because I'm being my typical perfectionist self when it comes to details

So I had an account here ages ago, but I haven't been back in over a year. I decided to change my name (to a lucky name, but it's not entirely the right name because someone had already taken it. Meh.) Anyhow, I'm going ot post the stuff I have done relating to the webcomic-that-is-still-in-my-head, and get my ass to work on some new stuff. There is other old stuff at my old account (Gwyneira (https://www.deviantart.com/gwyneira) if you really want to look), but I'm starting over. I think it's appropriate since I've been gone so long.
